Tucked away at the back of Palmetto Dunes, the Hilton Oceanfront Resort is often put in the shade by the more imposing Marriott next door, but unfairly so as this is one of the highest points of luxury on Hilton Head.

Boasting the new Ocean Tides Spa with the full range of treatments (aromatherapy, massage, facials and more), the Hilton Oceanfront Resort is moving to position itself as a luxury spa resort, aiming for second honeymooners, older clientele and  those seeking a quiet luxury getaway in Hilton Head, as opposed to the busy business traveler or young families.

That is not to suggest that children are unwelcome, far from it. The 'Seaside Adventurers Club' is available throughout the high season (which in Hilton Head is between Memorial Day and Labor Day), offering children's activities from beach play to arts and crafts, There are also separate swimming pools for families and adults, plus a wading pool for the really young ones.
