Heritage Prize Money Increased (again!)

Time to start practising your putting, the MCI Heritage of Golf Organizers have increased the purse for the 2006 tournament.

The toal prize money on offer is now a staggering $5.3 million for the PGA Tour event, with the winner receiving $954,000.

The preliminary findings from a Clemson study show that the Heritage Tournament brings in $52 million in income and $84 million in sales for Beaufort County businesses.
