MCI Heritage to become Verizon Heritage?

Verizon this week complete their $8.5 billion take over of MCI, leaving to speculation over the new name of Hilton Head’s popular golf tournament.

Some of the names being floated are simply the Verizon Heritage of Golf, and the more cumbersome MCI Heritage of Golf Presented by Verizon.

Really though, it doesn’t matter too much what the tournament is called…not when there’s so much money pouring into the local economy.
