Condo Conversion Craze Continues
The red-hot real estate market is showing no signs of slowing and apartment owners at Westbury Park are cashing in with a condo conversion, with units as low as $80,000.
Montecito Condominiums, who recently converted The Meridian in Mount Pleasant near Charleston, are planning on a ‘Super Saturday’ launch, January 21st, to sell as many units as possible.
As with most condo conversions investors will probably make up as much as 50% of the buyers, but this is not expected to seriously affect the housing market as most units will be for rental purposes anyway.
