Salty Dog Cafe owner Bob Gossett has completed a $2 million deal to buy South Beach Marina.

The deal covers the 85 boat moorings and 3 buildings of South Beach Marina, including the tackle and bait store, plus storage facilities for water sports equipment and a boat ramp.

The success of the Salty Dog, now recognized as one of Hilton Head’s landmarks, has enabled Mr Gossett to get the financing needed to buy the marina, which is also home to the Salty Dog.
