Hilton Head Golf
One of the three golf courses in Palmetto Dunes
Although Hilton Head has a lot to offer, it is safe to say that golf is central to the Island. If you fly in to Hilton Head Airport you could be forgiven for thinking that the area is nothing but course after course, with the dotted bunkers and water hazards breaking up the seemingly neverending array of fairways.
In fact there are more than 40 golf courses in Hilton Head and the immediate surrounding area, from the first, and most famous, Harbour Town Golf Links which hosts the MCI Heritage tournament to the newest (at the time of writing at least!), Canongate at Pinecrest.
